Psychological Counseling and Guidance Services
The Psychological Counseling Unit aims to provide psychological support to Mehmet Akif Ersoy University students and staff in individual, social, and academic issues, contribute to their mental, emotional, and behavioral development, and help improve their quality of life by developing problem-solving skills. The services provided at the Psychological Counseling Unit are free of charge.

Our fundamental principle is confidentiality. The contents of the meetings and your personal information are not shared with any person or institution without your consent, in accordance with ethical rules. All applicants are accepted with the same sensitivity and respect, regardless of their individual differences.
What to Do to Receive Psychological Counseling and Guidance Service?
Our unit operates on an appointment system. Since a specific time slot will be allocated for everyone, you need to make an appointment with our counselor via the phone/email we will specify below or by coming to our office. In the appointments you will make by coming to our office, a preliminary interview will be conducted first. As a result, an appropriate day and time will be determined, and an appointment will be given.
If you have an important excuse and want to postpone or cancel your appointment, please inform your counselor at least 24 hours in advance.
